Coronavirus update regarding Atradius' collaboration in the Trade Partnership Insurance (TPI) program in Canada.
Atradius, along with other members of the Receivables Insurance Association of Canada (RIAC), has enhanced Trade Partnership Insurance, a collaboration to help Canadian firms weather COVID-19. The public-private partnership expands credit capacity for businesses. In return, participating trade credit insurers receive some protection as part of the Canadian government’s Emergency Response Act against excessive claim losses during these turbulent times. This innovative solution allows more Canadian businesses to benefit from trade credit insurance and continue to trade securely, thereby limiting economic damage from the pandemic.
